Fall 2013 Sessions

I've had some wonderful sessions since returning from my maternity leave! Since I do send you lovely clients to this blog for pricing and session information, I thought I'd give you a few updated photos to look at as well.

This smiley 6-month-old visited with me,

and so did her family!

I had a session with this high school senior:

These 2 precious brothers didn't really want to smile for me, but with a bit of work, we got this picture!

That's just a small peek at some of my sessions so far this fall. Still thankful for all your business and inquiries!

"Housekeeping" Announcements

I'm back!  I've been enjoying my post-Christmas-photography lull: that natural time of year in the winter months when my lovely clients aren't as interested in photos.  And that's okay!  It provides me with a nice break after the fall/Christmas photo rush.

That said, I do have a couple of announcements regarding Century Photography:

We're expecting our 3rd sweet baby, due 7/13/13!
1) Many have asked, and yes, I am planning to schedule sessions at least until the beginning of July.  (My babies are always late, so you shouldn't need to worry about your session being canceled due to an early delivery.)
2) I will be taking an abbreviated maternity leave, expecting to slowly work back into scheduling sessions beginning in the middle of September.  I will probably only schedule 1 session/week in Sept/Oct.  Because of this, you may want to plan ahead if you are interested in fall photos and book early.  I will begin scheduling fall sessions while on my maternity leave (July).
3) If you have a CP Baby Plan, don't worry!!  If your 3 mo/6 mo/etc session falls during my maternity leave, you will be an exception and I will still do that session; probably after my baby is 3 weeks old.  That should still allow us to take timely photos.  If you'd like to discuss another option, let me know.

Next announcement:
I am booking now for February, March, and April sessions.  Expect an in-home, studio-type session during cold or inclement weather.  As soon as it's warm enough, I'd love to meet you outside, or an in-home session is always an option.

Here is an in-home studio look at one of my cuties - you'd never know this was taken in my daughter's room, would you?

Happy early Valentine's Day!  Century Photography loves being your family photo provider!

Price Changes for 2013

I'm increasing some specialty prices for 2013.  This will only affect about 20% of my clients, as I'm not changing all prices for all sessions.

My normal pricing will remain as follows:

Full session: $110 (see "pricing" tab for all that includes)
Mini-session: $60 (see "pricing" tab for all that includes)

That said, here are the price changes for 2013.

Travel Fee
For sessions that take place in Winston-Salem, Durham, Raleigh, or similar or farther distances from Greensboro, I will be adding a $15 travel fee to the normal session fee.  If you are purchasing a package, the travel fee will be $20 for the Bouncing Baby plan and $30 for the Grow With Me plan - can be discounted if not all of the sessions will take place in those travel areas.

Large Group Fee
For groups larger than 6 people: a full session will cost $130 and will include 25 photos.  A mini-session will cost $70 and will include 12 photos.

Thanks for your understanding!  I so enjoy each of my clients!

Baby Bump

One of my favorite things about photography is getting to interact with so many people at different stages of life.  I enjoy maternity photography because it's much different than child and family photography - although I obviously enjoy that also!

I had the pleasure of photographing a friend's maternity session a few weeks ago.  Is there anything better in life than anticipating your first child?  I don't think so!

N family, I can't wait to meet your new addition in February!

Graduating

I so look forward to seeing my Watch Me Grow and Bouncing Baby plan clients.  It's always bittersweet for me when they turn one!

Little T is turning one, and we had his last Watch Me Grow session last week.  I was talking to his mama, and she told me how glad she was that they did this baby plan.  She was amazed at how different he looks in photos from sessions just a few months apart.

If you're contemplating a baby plan for your new baby, I would urge you to do it.  You'll never regret it.

Here's one year old T!

Falling For You

Fall has come!  And with it, a busy photography schedule for me.  Thank you, clients, for trusting me with your photos!  I'm feeling very blessed.

I know the parents of this new baby girl are feeling quite blessed, too.  I could just tell they're falling in love with her!

Great to meet you, sweet Miss T!

Recipe

Two little ones.  Two parents.  One Saturday morning.  A dash of spunk.  A sprinkle of candy (bribes do work, you know!)  One recipe for a precious photo session!

Thanks, S family!  Loved meeting all of you!
